Butikken Østenfor i Moss

Eco-friendly, ethical and colourful redesign – all in one shop? Yes, it´s possible. Go visit Østenfor – a shop situated close to the town of Moss in Norway.

You can read on their Facebook page: “Østenfor is a shop which sells products which communicate hope.” That sentence covers my impression of the shop, too!

They sell wodden toys, jewellery, interior and food from all parts of the world. And most importantly, their own redesign of furniture and clothing.  Made by people who are in rehabilitation. There is also a little café with home-made food and cakes, and delicious coffee.

The owner has managed to create a trendy shop with a good mix of products from their own production and from manufacturers. I recommend a trip out of Oslo for this shop – it´s worth a detour!

And luckily, I met the blogger Revinyl, too. Have a look at her blog here.
